Today's sayonara went ok. Managed to hold back the tears until I was in the car. 1 down, 6 to go...
I waslooking back through old pictures tonight and I stumbled across this jem that Michelle took on New Years Eve.

sarah, i want so badly to go to portland now. i'll just skip all the goodbyes and the packing and get on the plane.

We’re so bad ass. I feel like we look like a band and this is the cover of our new album. What would our band name be? According to what I look like in this picture I want my name in the band to be the "Mafia Midget.” I guess I can't complain too much, it's not as bad as "the bug picture" at least my head/body is in the right spot.
All in all, quite an amazing picture, props to Michelle for capturing this moment.
Pretty soon you'll be able to hang out on a Saturday night, eat chocolate chip cookies, and do absolutely nothin' in Portland...
